Want to get the full idea as to how large the sun really is?
Take a look at this!This image is a composite of 3 photos I took of the sun as Mercury passed in front of it. See those 3 black dots in a row? That's Mercury as it moved in front of the sun! I wish I could've photographed the entire trek, but I'm happy that I got anything at all.
Can you wrap your head around the fact that the little dot is a planet? Look at how HUGE the sun really is! You can also see some sunspots!
