Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, CA

 The rangers will not tell you where the oldest Bristlecone is located, for fear that someone will damage it.

However, all of the bristlecones you see are ancient, some of them in this area are over 4,000 years old! I was not able to venture far away from the car, due to a recent injury.
