Death Valley, CA - Superbloom

 If the fall and winter get good rainfall, Death Valley can come to life in a field of yellow.

Such was the case this March, and Jim and I were lucky to be able to see it. I overheard some tourists saying that it wasn't very impressive, but they seriously have no idea how rare this is! 

We took care when we took photos so that we didn't step on any of the flowers, but there were tourists running amok without care, which made me sad.
